Its winter, and at Monimel, we understand how difficult to keep your house clean during the winter. Kids come in from playing in the snow and leave snow all over, track mud up and down your stairs, and just a general feel of filth seems to take over your house.
That's what we're here for! We're going to give you some tips on how to keep your home a bit cleaner and hopefully save your sanity!
Now that the holidays are over, its a good time to deep clean your kitchen. Start with your stove. I'm sure with all the baking you did over the holidays, its gotten pretty grimy. If you have a self-cleaning oven, then that task shouldn't be too hard.
Next, take inventory of your kitchen. Go through your spices and get rid of ones that have expired, or are empty, making sure you make a list so you can replace them.
Next thing you can do is scrub down your kitchen cabinets. You can use this handy degreaser recipe we found at Premeditated Leftovers that should help you clean relatively naturally, easily, and safely.
Take 2 cups of hot water and add 2 Tablespoons of the blue Dawn dish soap, 1/2 cup of borax, and 1/2 cup of vinegar. Combine all ingredients in a small bucket or a large bowl. Scrub well, using a damp cloth wipe your cabinets clean.
For a cleaning checklist, you can go to Premeditated Leftovers and download a great list there. If you really don't want the hassle of cleaning, then give us a call! We can be out to your house and make the mess go away for you, quickly!
